Where are you from?

I figure most of us WTFuckers have a history of other MMOs and FPSs so, why not start a thread to get this board rolling.

What games have you played and did you do anything noteworthy like run a fansite or gaming community? Were you ever top-ranked end-game leet-sausage? Did you develop some mods, exploits, hax? What's your nerding history?

Haha I have quite the gaming pedigree XD

It all started out in Starcraft, I was a map maker and got into the whole mass-spawn defense craze really early, creating some really cool ones out of the gate.
When the forums were first starting up, I applied to be a moderator at the BattleNet.com forums, which is the exclusive Unofficial Blizzard forums for all things Diablo, Warcraft and Starcraft. I was a moderator of the RPG, General and Writing forums. It was a blast and I did that for almost 2 years under the username Tekblade.

I cut my teeth on Everquest, playing a short 15 day trial and loving every minute of it, especially falling off that damn huge tree in the dark elf starting area >_<

I was in the Closed Beta for WoW and loved it, so I stuck with that until level 60 (Undead Rogue, Lightning's Blade), and then began to bounce around from MMO to MMO. I've played most of them out there until at least middle of the game.

The only game I can think of where I attained any kind of noteriety would have to be Guild Wars. I ran the guild Wolves of the Calla, and Bakuryu was one of my first recruits (ironically, also how we met!)

So yeah, before I got to Aion I fell back into WoW where I got to 70ish on a Dranei Warrior, and a 78 Night Elf Death Knight. I had to stop because, well, I got this job I have now and just couldn't play anymore. :\

How about you guys?

My first MMO experience was Anarchy Online, from there I moved to Everquest 2, and now here. I have tried nearly everything in between, WoW, AoC, and Vanguard. I know there were many others, but nothing kept my attention. Everquest 2 was my main stomping grounds. Now I have left it for Aion.

i used to play this for a long time. rogue/assassin and sorcerer
i also tried out guildwars, requiem: bloodymare, rohan and counterstrike lol

i started on final fantasy 7 but played every single final fantasy there was(not mmos but...)preety much played almost every single rpg there is from 1997 and onward

my first mmo was maplestory lol kiddy i know

my actual real mmo was final fantasy 11 played that for 2yrs
then went to guild wars for a year
then heard about WoW and played that till prolly mid way through BC when WoW was good imo
then stumbled around from AoC(3months) and WAR(4months)
now Aion and im loving it so far hoping this last me 1yr+ i hope it makes it

I've only been gaming for about a year. Last november I had surgery and while recovering I downloaded the free trial for WOW. I played a Night Elf Druid (Boomkin/Tree)and a Gnome Mage.. both 80 and both my main. I liked having a choice for raiding and PVP.

My friend let me try his Beta of Aion and here I am.

I started with PSone and followed with the PS2 I have some 250 games on that and have moved on to PS3. I got into PC gaming releativly recently only about 3 years ago. I started playing starcraft and everquest after hearing they were good games then moved onto TF2 and L4D which really made me like the PC community then I played the Warhammer beta for a week enjoyed that saw Aion and moved onto it.

I started playing World of Warcraft a couple months after the Burning Crusades. We started raiding late so we were only able to clear of ssc, tk, and the first few in bt before the massive nerf. When Wrath came out, we started hardcore style clear like mad...my 25 man suffered from a lack of people but my 10 man to this day kicks butt. We are currently the top 10 man group on the server, 200th world wide, earning Yogg +0 and a tribute to dedicated insanity. I've got 6 lvl 80s so i guess I enjoy grinding so naturally fell in love with Aion. I've been playing for about 6 days and have a 26 chanter on another server and a lvl 10 glad that i made this morning in the wtf legion.
